Since 2001, the European Federation for Medical Informatics has organized a Special Topic Conference each year to empower the EFMI Working Groups. 

The EFMI together with the GBHIA and the working groups of Education and other Working Groups related to clinical informatics and AI bring together a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of scientists, clinical practitioners, and innovators who share a common vision advancing healthcare with the application of AI. 

Over three days, participants will engage with cutting-edge research and innovative approaches in areas such as AI-driven health analytics, clinical informatics, decision-making, healthcare professionals' empowerment via education, personal development, and continuing lifelong learning. Ethical issues are discussed due to the advancement of AI along with  human-centered inclusive health informatics. Through keynote lectures, scientific sessions, workshops, and discussions, we aim to create a dynamic environment that promotes knowledge exchange, critical thinking, and new partnerships.
